The oldest player in the squad, and the most capped Singapore female player with 55 international appearances (as of Oct 2022), Ernie is undoubtedly the leader of the Sailors’ Women team.
Making her debut in the WPL as early as at 13 years old, Ernie is a trailblazer – one of the first Singaporean female footballers to play overseas in Japan’s Division One and Two when she plied her trade in the Land of the Rising Sun between 2013 to 2014.
With a healthy diet and consistent cardio work, Ernie’s strong sense of discipline and dedication means she is still amongst one of the fittest in the squad. Ernie, who is adept at both centre-back and holding midfield, will be influential in passing on her wealth of experience and knowledge to her fellow Sailors, especially with a number of them almost half her age.
