Possessing aerial prowess, astute positional sense and the composure that complements his ability to distribute the ball from defence, the 1.9m Pedro is the commander that the Sailors can depend on to marshal the defence.

Armed with experience from the Brazilian and Portuguese top-tier leagues, the 29-year-old was once a target for FC Porto in 2017 after helping Vitoria Guimaraes finish fourth in the league and runner-ups in the Portuguese Cup the previous season. In that same year and subsequently in 2019, he also played in the UEFA Europa League with Vitoria.

Pedro signed a three-year deal with the Sailors in 2022 and is currently working his way back from a serious knee injury.
