Ten Lion City Sailors players have been named in Singapore’s squad to face Paraguay and Brazil in two marquee friendlies during the November FIFA international window.
Lions and Sailors captain Hariss Harun will be joined by Ryhan Stewart, Lionel Tan, Hami Syahin, Kyoga Nakamura, Song Uiyoung, Glenn Kweh, Farhan Zulkifli, Shawal Anuar and Ilhan Fandi, with the Sailors forming the nucleus of Gavin Lee’s final 24-man squad for the inaugural Mizuho Blue Challenge – The Kallang Football Series Singapore.
Meanwhile, full-back Nur Adam Abdullah misses out as he recovers from surgery following an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury sustained in last month’s Singapore Premier League victory over the Young Lions.

The Lions will take on Paraguay on Friday (13 November), before facing five-time FIFA World Cup champions Brazil four days later (17 November). The clash with Brazil could see Hariss and company test themselves against the likes of Vinícius Júnior, Gabriel and Raphinha.
Both matches will be played at the National Stadium.
We wish our Sailors all the best in their upcoming friendlies for the Lions.
