Having established himself as one of Singapore’s finest young defenders across two separate spells at Hougang United, Lionel has taken his game to a whole next level since joining the Sailors in 2023 and is now a lynchpin for the Singapore national team.

The 1.84m defender is a key cog in the Sailors’ backline with his robust and no-nonsense style of defending. Having already chalked up than 100 appearances for the club in the past three seasons, Lionel’s experience and tip-top physical condition will stand him in good stead for yet another good campaign with the club.
