Known for his relentless work rate, tireless running, and ability to progress play, the 26-year-old is a dynamic addition to the Sailors following his move from fellow SPL side Tampines Rovers in the off-season.

The left-footed winger registered 16 goals and 22 assists across three seasons with the Stags. In the recent 2025/26 campaign, he underlined his pedigree on the continental stage by scoring away against South Korean giants Pohang Steelers in the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Champions League Two while representing Tampines, before netting a superb brace for Singapore against regional rivals Thailand in an international friendly.

Able to play on either flank, Glenn will give the Sailors greater depth and flexibility in the wide areas.

Kyoga

Nationality: Singaporean

A classy midfield operator with a sweet left foot, Kyoga joined the Sailors in January 2026 from Thai League 1 side Bangkok United and helped the team retain both domestic trophies in the Singapore Premier League (SPL) and the Singapore Cup.

The move to the Sailors marked a return to Singapore football for Kyoga, where he established himself after beginning his professional career in Japan’s J3 League. He spent the previous six seasons in the SPL, making his debut in 2019 with Albirex Niigata (S), before clocking up the majority of his domestic league appearances with Tampines Rovers over the next five years.

Kyoga then left for Bangkok United in June 2025, where he made 17 appearances in all competitions before joining the Sailors.

Over the years, Kyoga has endeared himself to the local football fraternity with his relentless work rate, warm personality and deep affinity with Singapore, which is underlined by his desire to represent the national team. The Chiba native – who played for Japan at the 2013 FIFA Under-17 World Cup – was granted Singapore citizenship in October 2024, and has since become a Lions regular, playing an influential role in the nation’s historic qualification for the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Asian Cup on merit.

Named in the SPL Team of the Year for four seasons (2019, 2020, 2022 and 2023), Kyoga is the heartbeat of the Sailors’ midfield with his creativity, vision and composure.

Tsiy

Nationality: German-Cameroonian

DOB/Age: 13 June 1997 (29)

A powerful left-footed midfielder with excellent reading of the game and a unique skill set, Tsiy is a vital cog in the Sailors’ engine room.

Born in Cologne to Cameroonian parents, Tsiy grew up in Germany and signed his first professional contract with Bundesliga side Borussia Mönchengladbach, featuring regularly for their reserve team in the Regionalliga (German fourth tier). He then spent the 2017/18 season on loan in the Dutch Eredivisie with Roda JC, making 32 appearances.

Tsiy later moved to Switzerland, where he amassed close to 130 Swiss Super League appearances over seven seasons. Most recently, he represented Grasshopper Club Zürich from 2022 to 2025, where he stood out for his athleticism, leadership, and ability to drive forward from midfield to contribute goals.

His consistent performances attracted interest from several European clubs, but he ultimately chose to embark on a new adventure with the Sailors in Singapore in July 2025.

Nurhidayu

Nationality: Singaporean

DOB/Age: 16 March 2004 (22)

Nurhidayu, more commonly known as Ayu, is known for her soft-heartedness off the field.

On it, however, Ayu transforms into a fearless midfielder who reads the game well and is fully committed and brave in the tackle. After suffering an unfortunate ACL injury, Ayu made her comeback with the Sailors Women in 2024 and is determined to make up for lost time, alongside her younger sister Natasha.

Nur Ain

Nationality: Singaporean

DOB/Age: 7 January 2010 (16)

Year Promoted to Women’s Team: 2024

As the first female scholar of the Sailors Football Academy, Ain is a rising star to watch. After impressing with the Sailors U-13 Elite Boys’ team, Ain was promoted to the WPL team in June 2024, where she has quickly established herself as a key figure.

Ain’s technical ability, speed, and acceleration, combined with her aggressive off-the-ball play, showcase a talent far beyond her years. Touted as the future star of Singapore women’s football, Ain is already making significant strides in her young career.

Bart

Nationality: Dutch

DOB/Age: 29 June 1996 (30)

Previous Clubs: FC Utrecht (2014-2016, 2019-2023), PSV Eindhoven (2016-2019)

Having shone with a series of scintillating displays in the past two seasons, fans will be delighted to learn that Bart has extended his contract with the Sailors till 2028.

A versatile attacking midfielder who has the ability to play on either flank, or centrally in between the lines, he first played a crucial part in a historic 2024/25 season – scoring crucial goals in the AFC Champions League Two semi-final against Sydney FC and the Singapore Cup final against BG Tampines Rovers.

Then in 2025/26, he carried in the same vein with his tally of eight goals and 11 assists across 20 league appearances earning him a deserved nomination for the SPL Player of the Year.

Prior to arriving in Singapore, Bart honed his craft in the Dutch Eredivisie for around a decade. He rose to prominence at PSV, winning the 2017/18 Eredivisie title and featuring in the UEFA Champions League with the Dutch giants. Then he had two spells with Utrecht where he accumulated 130 domestic league appearances, before making the move to Singapore in February 2024.

Bart has also been capped thrice at international level with Holland – this includes a start in their 3-1 World Cup qualifying win over Luxembourg in November 2016, where he played alongside the likes of Virgil van Dijk, Wesley Sneijder, Georginio Wijnaldum and Arjen Robben.
